In the early years of settlement, agriculture was first in terms of production. It was secured livelihood, which is why the open fields were highly coveted. Today, livestock and meat production are in the first place.

Previously, it sold the raw material (cotton, peanut, etc.). Trying to get the best prices, while currently attaches great importance to the production, processing and, if possible, the sale of finished products. This system also creates more jobs.

Today, the Colony Neuland owns 240,000 hectares of land.

Among the reasons that have driven the growth of the cooperative are:

The mechanization of agriculture in the seventies.

The technical expertise in the agricultural sector.

The progressive economic policy since 1972.

The favorable credits to long term.

The asphalting of the road Transchaco.

The development plan for dairy production in the early eighties.

The upgrading of roads and the media in general.
