Agricultural and Livestock Services (SAP)

This service of the cooperative (Servicio Agropecuario = SAP) provides its members with around-the-clock advice and help in the areas of agriculture and cattle-breeding. This work is done by the agronomists, veterinarians and technical assistants employed here.

Further training courses with local and foreign experts are offered on a regular basis, as well. These specialists also carry out important studies here, for example about the different types of soil, the cultivation of different varieties of pasture and the breeding and fattening of cattle.

The SAP programs are funded through a percentaged contribution from the members levied on the income from production in livestock farming and agriculture. The members benefit directly from this by making use of the offered further training courses and consultations for their production.
