Hospital Concordia Neuland

The Hospital Concordia Neuland was renovated in 2001. It is equipped with an operating room, delivery room, pharmacy, laboratory and an ambulance. High-tech equipment is available to the doctors during surgeries and check-ups.

This modern hospital is equipped according to the requirements of the Ministry of Public Health, so it can offer a good service. Professionally trained doctors, nurses and orderlies provide 24 hour care for the patients.

All the members of the colony can enter the mutual aid fund for health and social security. The members of the indigenous communities have the possibility of becoming members of A.M.H. (a mutual aid health insurance) recognized through Law 3050. Apart from that, the hospital also has agreements with IPS (the obligatory insurance of the national institute for social security), through which the insured receive preferential treatment.

Sanatorium Eirene, located in Filadelfia, Fernheim Colony, offers its patients psychiatric, psychological and medical assistance. This mental hospital belongs to the six Mennonite colonies Neuland, Fernheim, Menno, Friesland, Volendam and Sommerfeld.
