Internal Safety, Mediation and Traffic

Neuland's department in charge of public order is divided into three main areas: Traffic, the Mediation Office and Internal Safety. To work as effectively as possible, the departments work closely together with the national police stationed on the same premises in Neu-Halbstadt.

Among other things, the Traffic Department is in charge of issuing driver's licenses, collecting the vehicle tax, street signage and, in particular, monitoring and controlling the general road traffic in the colony.

In conflict situations (neighborhood disputes or the like) the Mediation Office acts as mediator trying to find solutions in a peaceful manner.

The Department for Internal Safety concerns itself with solving burglaries, muggings or the like in the colony.
