Rodeo

The rodeo facilities are located somewhat out of the Center Neu-Halbstadt. The maintenance and expansion of these facilities are encouraged and funded by the Colony.

This rodeo festival provides a colorful selection of activities for the inhabitants and neighbors of Neuland, as well as for the numerous visitors.

The most important part would arguably be the exhibition of hundreds of cattle, horses and small animals, among them also the animals that won awards at the rodeo; though the stands from the production and service sectors also attract visitors. Great importance has been attached to breeding and training thoroughbred horses already for years. There are races in different categories for horse lovers.

The Rodeo is a very popular fair that takes place every year for three days in mid-May. Just like the ladies and gentlemen of the Neuland riding club, who show off their attractive uniforms in the popular parades, the riding associations from the neighboring colonies also participate.
