Indigenous Crafts

Cayin ô Clim is a working-class neighborhood in Neu-Halbstadt where the majority of the inhabitants are members of the Nivacle tribe. You can buy excellent crafts there. Regina, a Nivacle lady, makes incredible runners and bags with designs that have been used for many generations in their tribe. The carver Mateo spends time making various objects from Palosanto wood; particularly the typical Chaco animals like turtles, anteaters, armadillos and snakes are recurrent themes.
