Museum

To make sure that the culture and history are not forgotten, it was almost taken for granted that a Museum belonging the the colony would be opened. The building is one of the first ones from early years of the settlement and was used as a school in the beginning.

The Museum of the Colony NeulandThere are exhibits that were manufactured by the settlers under the simplest of conditions, but also some that were brought along from Russia and Germany during their flight. Outside there are, among other things, also agricultural implements and the scaffolding of a well that can be viewed. It is also possible to walk through a typical small house from the first few years of the settlement furnished with the scarce furniture of those times.
