Selva Serena = Serene Forest

Approximately 1,500 ha of Neuland Colony have been declared a nature reserve. It includes the various characteristic landscapes of the central Chaco: grassland, hollows, bush and artificial waterholes. In this extensive area you can gaze at the varied, partially unexplored flora and fauna, including, amongst others, the deer, boars, wild cats, as well as the multitude of snake and bird species that live here. In Selva Serena there is also a very important natural watering-place supplying this unique ecosystem with the vital liquid the whole year round.
